Christian World News is breaking new territory by bringing the gospel to Muslims, online and via satellite.

Middle Eastern viewers are now hearing the message of salvation through Christian World News Arabic.

CWN Arabic began on the Internet and now airs on the Al Hayat satellite network.

This weekly news program offers a strong contrast to the regular news coverage of wars, violence, and social turmoil.

Viewers in the Middle East are discovering that this is a source of hope and one way it is evident is in their response on social media. CWN Arabic reaches more than 1 million Facebook users and shares the gospel in several languages, including Turkish, Arabic, English,  Urdu, and Farsi.

"There is a lot to accomplish with CWN Arabic because the Arabic people as we know are in the news every day," CWN Anchor Edmond Michael said. "People need hope!"

The weekly broadcast shows Christians bringing aid to people during natural and man-made disasters. It also finds other ways to share God's love in difficult situations.

"Thank the Lord that he gave us this opportunity to open a little window to just give people some hope that there is salvation, there is love, there is eternal life, there is something better than you are seeing every day and there is hope for the future, for the eternal future," Michael said.

CWN producers expect reports like these will not only give the Arabic-speaking audience new hope, but also a better understanding of Christians and the Church around the globe.
