Jesus Christ Returns to the Mount of Olives
Greetings all.
I have been away for the last month and it’s good to be back.
While away the 700 Club ran the attached story we shot in Jerusalem and specifically on the Mount of Olives.
For those who believe in Scripture, the book of Acts in the New Testament describes Jesus appearing to various people over a forty day period following His resurrection and then He ascends, from the Mount of Olives, into heaven in front of His astonished disciples.
The Scripture goes on to say: “Suddenly two men dressed in white stood beside them. “Men of Galilee,” they said, “why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.
Then the apostles returned to Jerusalem from the hill called the Mount of Olives.”
We returned to that exact location overlooking the city of Jerusalem and talked to people from various parts of the world as to their impressions of Israel and the significance of the place they were standing.
One young man from Sweden experienced the promise of that self-same Jesus as we prayed together on that exact spot.
Here is that story we will all realize on that day when the Lord returns again to this earth with a “shout!”
What a privilege to have this moment realized now as a precursor of that which is yet to come!
