President and Vice President Honor WWI Vet

Tuesday afternoon, President Obama and Vice President Biden made an unannounced trip to Arlington National Cemetary, to pay tribute to the man who was the oldest living veteran of World War I, Frank Buckles.

They paid their respects inside the Amphitheater Chapel, and talked with the Buckles family.

Frank Buckles, who lived to be 110 years old, is buried in Section 34 of the cemetery.

His family, and the Congressional delegation from West Virginia tried to have a public viewing for Buckles in the US Capitol, but the request was denied by House Speaker John Boehner and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid.
