In the Beginning
The Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.” Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of man, and brought her to the man. Give honor to marriage, and remain faithful to one another in marriage. God will surely judge people who are immoral and those who commit adultery.

For some of us, admitting any kind of need is difficult because we’re too invested in having it all together, or at least looking like it. Vulnerability doesn't feel like an option. It takes courage to approach Jesus and honestly declare we need Him. Jesus responds to faith and will meet us right where we are, no matter what!
The kingdom of God can be experienced in the here and now. Be encouraged today that the Holy Spirit indwells His people. We have direct access to everything we need because of what Jesus did on the cross. How can you use this knowledge to better love and serve others today?
When you hear or read God’s Word, what is your response? What would your test results show? Be honest. We might have a reaction to what we read, it might be circumstantial, but we need our Daily Bread more than anything else we consume in our lives. We will reflect God's character when we allow His Holy Word to penetrate our hearts.
