Earlier this week, a judge dismissed a charge against David Daleiden, the investigator who released uncover videos of Planned Parenthood officials.

Daleiden, founder of the Center for Medical Progress (CMP), released a series of videos showing top Planned Parenthood staffers discussing the sale of baby body parts. But instead of Planned Parenthood being charged, Daleiden was indicted for trying to buy fetal body parts from the abortion giant.

Earlier this week, Texas Judge Diane Bull dropped the charge against him.

"Judge Diane Bull's swift dismissal of the bogus charge against CMP founder David Daleiden of trafficking human organs is the latest confirmation that the indictments from a runaway grand jury in Houston were a politically motivated sham all along," CMP said in a statement.

"The dismissal of the first indictment today sends a strong message to Planned Parenthood and their political cronies that colluding to suppress the First Amendment rights of citizen journalists will never work," CMP added.

Though this is undoubtedly a big win for pro-life activists, the fight is far from over for Daleiden. He still faces a charge for using a fake driver's license while recording his undercover footage. The CMP insists Daleiden didn't come close to breaking a law.

"The Center for Medical Progress follows all applicable laws in the course of its investigative journalism work and as more details about Planned Parenthood's contracts for aborted baby parts come to light, it's clear that Planned Parenthood and their business partners, like StemExpress, are the ones who are guilty of trafficking in human body parts," it said.

Daleiden believes the truth about Planned Parenthood has come to light despite the political battle he faces.

"No matter what, Planned Parenthood can never erase the video admissions of their senior leadership, now captured forever on camera for all the world to see."
