'She Was Literally Preparing to Take Her Life': The 'Winter Jam' Miracles that Will Remind You of God's Faithfulness

The concert series Winter Jam has been making stops around the country since 1995. Now, more than 20 years later the tour shows no signs of slowing down. CBN's Studio 5 caught up with artists on a recent stop in Nashville. 

Newsong, founders of the tour, shared exciting stories from this year's run. 

"This year we've had two people e-mail us and message about how God rescued them from suicide, because of how he uses Winer Jam," said Newsong's Russ Lee. 

He continued, "There is a lady and her family who got a phone call - she was literally preparing to take her life because she felt so hopeless, and she got a phone call from a radio station that said, 'congratulations you've won tickets to Winter Jam."  

Lee said the woman came and brought her children, and said the concert was "a real turning point "in her life. 

Lee called the largest Christian music concert series "a beautiful picture of what Christ prayed for, its the unity of the body."
