The Food and Drug Administration is launching a new campaign to reduce teen smoking.

The $115 million project aims to reduce the number of teen cigarette users by at least 300,000 over the next three years.

According to the FDA, more than 3,200 teens try their first cigarette ever day.

By targeting kids ages 12 to 17 they hope to reach them before they become addicted.

The campaign will run on TV stations like MTV, in magazines frequented by teens and on social media.
