Imagine healthcare without your familiar doctor and every time you're sick you're forced to seek treatment from a doctor who's never seen you before.

That could soon be a reality, because many doctors are closing their doors on private practice, thanks to pressure from big government.

"If anyone finished medical school now and had the least thoughts of opening a solo practice, they would be absolutely insane," Dr. Lawrence Varner, with Family Medicine of Farmville, said.

Varner said he's not sure how much longer he can last in such a broken healthcare system.
