Terrorists in Gaza fired more than 60 rockets into southern parts of Israel, officials said Tuesday.

The Islamic Jihad terror group is claiming responsibility for the attack, saying the rocket fire was to avenge the deaths of three of its members during an Israeli air strike.

Israel's military said its Iron Dome Defense system stopped at least three of the rockets. The rest fell along border communities.

There are no reports of casualties at this time.
