JERUSALEM, Israel -- An overwhelming majority of Palestinians support the increased terror attacks in and around Jerusalem, according to a new poll conducted in Gaza and the West Bank (Judea and Samaria).

Eighty percent of those surveyed support the attacks, which included the killing and wounding of pedestrians, the hacking and stabbing deaths of rabbis at prayer, and the vehicular homicide of an infant American-Israeli girl.

The poll was conducted by the Palestinian Center for Diplomacy and Polls and reported by Israeli Radio and Israel Hayom.

Nearly nine in 10 Palestinians also believe Israel endangers the al-Aqsa Mosque on Jerusalem's Temple Mount, and more than half are in favor of another violent Palestinian uprising or intifada.
