JERUSALEM, Israel -- According to ARA News, an ISIS terrorist beheaded a 15-year-old boy in a public square in Mosul on Tuesday for listening to Western music.

The boy reportedly was caught red handed with a portable CD player – a crime apparently punishable by death under Sharia (Islamic law).

"Ayham Hussein was captured by the jihadis while listening to pop music at the grocery store of his father in the Nabi Younis marketplace in Western Mosul," a Nineveh media center spokesman told ARA News. "He was referred to the Sharia Court, which issued a decision to execute him."

Speaking on condition of anonymity, the source said, "ISIS jihadis publicly beheaded the boy."

The terrorists returned his body to his family that evening, where some residents, appalled at the butchery, held a protest.

"There was no formal decision by the Sharia Court that bans listening to Western music," the source said, calling it the first documented case of this kind in Mosul.

An image posted on the website shows the blindfolded teen on his knees, hands tied behind his back, with his masked executioner preparing to decapitate him before a large crowd.
