JERUSALEM, Israel -- Israelis enjoyed following their prime minister, first lady and son on the last leg of a five-day visit to the United States, which concluded with a trip to the West Coast.

The prime minister, his wife, Sara, and son, Yair, were honored guests at the home of Arnon Milchan, a very successful Israeli film producer and Hollywood businessman, where they rubbed elbows with such star-studded guests as Clint Eastwood, Billy Crystal, Warren Beatty, Robert De Niro, Anthony Hopkins, Barbara Streisand, Kat Hudson, and James Caan.

Thursday evening, Netanyahu told an audience at the Simon Wiesenthal Center's Museum of Tolerance why it's important to take Iran's threats to destroy Israel seriously.

He also talked with senior executives at Apple Inc. and WhatsApp about cyber security, one of Israel's most highly honed sectors.

He toured the Silicon Valley where he signed an agreement with Gov. Jerry Brown for joint research and technology projects.

On the sidelines of their meeting, Brown told the press that Israeli innovation in water use and conservation could be profoundly helpful in California, which is suffering its worst drought in decades.

Information giants such as Intel, Google, Microsoft and Apple all do extensive business with Israeli companies.

After Monday's meeting with President Obama and others on Capitol Hill, Tuesday's address to 14,000 participants at the American Israel Public Affairs Committee Policy Conference and a very successful visit to L.A., the Netanyahu's headed home Friday.
