Outgoing Nevada Sen. Harry Reid says he laid the groundwork to stop a GOP filibuster of Supreme Court nominees and other judicial positions should Democrats win the White House and Senate.
In 2013, when Reid was the majority leader of the Senate, he got rid of filibusters against the president's nominees. The only exception was the Supreme Court.
Reid told the Talking Points Memo website that he believes Democrats will change the rules if necessary, so that filibusters cannot be used against high court nominees either.
That way a possible President Hillary Clinton could get her judges onto the Supreme Court.
