The Obama administration said about 1 million people signed up for Obamacare in January.

That's the first time the new health law has met a target since the disastrous launch last October.

So far, nearly 3.3 million people have signed up, which is more than 1 million short of the administration's overall goal.

Officials don't know how many of those sign-ups were previously uninsured, or if they're comprised of the millions of Americans who had their insurance plans cancelled by Obamacare.

They also don't know how many new sign-ups have sealed the deal by paying their premiums.
