More than 10 days after a deadly mudslide in Washington, rescue crews are still searching for human remains. The death toll stands at 28, with 20 people still missing.

Shane Theall, with the Washington Incident Management Team, said better weather has helped crews advance their search.

"The nice weather the last couple of days allowed us to get into more areas out there as the water levels recede and more water is not coming in," Theall said. "In the last several days we've seen a total drop of 2.7 feet in ponded areas throughout the site."

However, as much as three inches of rain are expected from Thursday to Sunday.

So far, the mudslide has caused an estimated $32 million in damage.
