It's been 16 months since three people were killed and more than 260 were wounded in the Boston Marathon bombing.

As the victims continue their physical and emotional healing, stories of hope and love are still surfacing, like that of James Costello who just married the nurse who helped him recover.

A photograph of Costello with his clothes ripped to shreds and parts of his body burned became one of the most recognized images of the 2013 attack.

Costello met Krista D'Agostino while recovering from multiple surgeries for shrapnel injuries and serious burns.

After the couple became engaged, Costello said he believed he was involved in the tragedy in order to meet D'Agostino.

He described his new bride as his best friend and the love of his life. The couple married last weekend in Boston.
