Family Uses Facebook to Donate Unused Embryos

Using social media to donate is not unusual but what a family in Mount Juliet, Tennessee, is giving away is anything but ordinary.

Angel Watts is using Facebook to find a family for her unused embryos.

When Watts and her husband had issues with fertility they turned to in vitro fertilization, and were then able to have four children.

The process left them with six unused embryos. Instead of destroying them or donating them separately, the family is on the search to find a couple to take all six.

"I'd really like the family that takes them to want a large family," Watts said.
