Get Her a Gun for Valentines Day?

For Valentines Day this year, maybe it's time to think outside the box.

If she's not into chocolates, flowers or teddy bears, she might like a firearm.

"Just Glocks," a Texas gun store, has them on sale for Valentine's Day and the owner says this year's hottest gift is exactly what some women want.

"As a matter of fact, I've had a few guys have come in to purchase guns for their wives for Valentine's day. And they specifically told me it was for Valentine's Day," owner Edward J. Isenberg said. "The wife is probably happy that she's not getting a lawnmower."

Many handguns, like the glock, now come in pink, just for the ladies. The firearms are much more than a fashion statement. A growing number of women say they want to protect themselves, and see a handgun as a good option to do so.
