You probably don't know his name, but you've surely heard his music.

Harry T. Burleigh, the grandson of a slave, is one of the most influential people in American music.

In the first half of the 20th century he shined as a world-class composer, arranger, and artistic pioneer.

Craig von Buseck, author of the new book Nobody knows: The Harry T. Burleigh story, talked about Burleigh's role in bridging the gap between black and white America on CBN Newswatch, Feb. 26. Watch Now.
