Obama's SOTU Address Gets Record-Low Ratings
President Barack Obama's State of the Union speech Tuesday night got the lowest ratings in 14 years.
Not since former President Bill Clinton's last speech in 2000 has a State of the Union address scored so low, with fewer than 33.3 million people tuning in, Nielsen Ratings reported.
Obama's audience for the annual address to the nation has steadily declined since he took office, down a total of 20 million viewers since 2009.
Analysts say the speech will not help boost the president's low approval ratings.
