"The Lego Movie" hits theaters this weekend, inviting families to enjoy an adventure film together without worrying about shielding young eyes.

The talented voices of Will Arnett and Elizabeth Banks bring to life the toy characters and tell a story of an ordinary LEGO figure, mistakenly thought to be an extraordinary MasterBuilder. The heroes must defeat an evil LEGO tyrant before he glues the universe together.

Meanwhile, another anticipated film, "The Monuments Men," also hits theaters this weekend.

The movie is about a platoon in WWII tasked with rescuing masterpiece art from the Nazis. Director and writer George Clooney stars in the film alongside big name actors Matt Damon, Bill Murray, and Cate Blanchett.

But the war film will have parents shielding their young ones' ears, according to movie critic Bob Waliszewski.

Waliszewski, director of Focus on the Family's entertainment review department PluggedIn Online. talked about both movies on CBN News Today, Feb. 7.
