February is Black History Month, when we celebrate the accomplishments and contributions African-Americans have made throughout our nation's history.

But another epidemic is making a history of it's own: abortion. The latest abortion surveillance report by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention shows between 2007-2010, nearly 36 percent of abortions in the United States were performed on black children.

Reporter/Anchor Mark Martin talked with Dr. Alveda King, a pro-life activist and the niece of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., about the epidemic and what Christians can do to stop it.

She also shared her personal testimony involving abortion and how Jesus Christ turned her life around.
