A church in Ohio ordered a pizza during a service, then shocked the driver with a tip of more than $1,000.

The driver delivered the $5.99 pizza to Sycamore Creek Church in Pickerington, a suburb of Columbus.

Pastor Steve Markle brought the driver onstage and asked her what was the biggest tip she'd ever gotten. She said about $10.

Then he told her he'd been teaching the church about generosity and the congregation had taken up an offering for the Domino's pizza driver.

She burst into tears when given the tip.

The Columbus Dispatch reports the church was wrapping up a sermon series called: "I was Broke. Now I'm Not."
