Bishop T.D. Jakes' new syndicated, daily, one-hour talk show will air on the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) starting in September.

"Every now and then you get an opportunity that makes you so excited you get goose pimples," Jakes said in a message posted to the show's Facebook page.

OWN bought the rights to air the program from T.D. Jakes Enterprises and TEGNA Media earlier this year.

"We are going to reach you through OWN. The partnership has been done. The contract has been signed. All you got to do is hit the remote control and you can see me on OWN," he said.

The pastor, author, film and music producer and entreprenuer will host the daily show and provide audiences with personal stories and conversations with celebrity and non-celebrity guests.

The new partnership allows Jakes to reach 85 million homes and is expected to help viewers navigate pertinent life issues.

"T.D. Jakes is a powerful, highly visible and well respected figure across a variety of media and social platforms. His inimitable approach and innate ability to connect with people will bring a welcome, positive new addition to the daytime television landscape," said Bob Sullivan, senior vice president of programming for TEGNA Media, in a statement.

The show will also provide interactive content across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Youtube.

Jakes' show will premiere on September 12 across 70 affiliates.
