The Conquer Series: A Battle Plan Against Pornography

A new DVD series for men is taking on the porn epidemic. It's called the Conquer Series and it's a five week course.

The Conquer Series is not simply a study tool for men, but a battle plan.

The host of the Series is Dr. Ted Roberts, founder of Pure Desire Ministries International and former U.S. Marine Corps fighter pilot in Vietnam. He was the senior pastor of a church in Oregon with over 7,000 members and has counseled and discipled men for over thirty years.

Roberts takes viewers through a journey of discovery, laying out spiritual strategies, presenting scientific facts and, in military style, teaches men how to use the weapons God has given them to prevail against the enemy of their souls.

"There is no hope of revival in the church today unless men are helped to get free with biblical answers that actually work," said Dr. Roberts.

Many churches already offer the Conquer Series to the men of their congregations.

Stefan Duerksen first went through the series for himself and now leads it at his church in Canada.

"The Conquer Series brilliantly navigates sexual bondage and the path to freedom using Scripture and the latest in brain research," Duerksen says.

Radiate Church in Lexington, NC. recently started a Conquer Series group after its Pastor and founder, Kristy Brubaker read a study about the amount of men who struggle with pornography.

"It's something that you don't hear much in the church," Brubaker said. "We are here to be the hands and feet of Jesus. God takes us through things to share our experiences and things that we have been through to help other people … so we need to get it out there we need to talk about it and we need to get men help," Brubaker said.
