More than 120 world leaders from more than 40 countries met on Dec. 8th to talk about defeating radical Islamist terrorism and combating cyber and economic warfare.

The Sixth Parliamentary Intelligence-Security Forum at the Library of Congress was hosted by North Carolina Congressman Robert Pittenger who serves as the Chairman of the Congressional Task Force on Terrorism.

With ISIS now in more than 35 countries, Pittenger told CBN News that the battle begins with clearly identifying the enemy and it's critical for world leaders to be on the same page.

"I believe President-elect Trump understands our mission and we need to unite our partners around the world in like-manner that President Reagan did with the Soviet Union," he said. "We had a moral clarity with President Reagan. The world knew where he stood and with that we were able to lead the world and without firing the shot, the Soviet Union collapsed."

The forum happens twice every year.
