Some were at a bar and some were at a Bible study, but when they heard a young woman screaming for help they all ran outside to help.

A 21-year-old woman in Cleveland, Ohio, had just left her weekly Bible study and was climbing into her car when two men in masks grabbed her and tried to force her into the back seat.

Kicking and screaming, she freed herself and began running away, but the men chased her. That's when the members of her Bible study and customers at a nearby tavern ran outside to help, according to News5 in Cleveland. The two men fled through a nearby backyard and got away.

"It could have happened to anybody and it's unfortunate that it happened to somebody I know, and somebody who was just coming here to go to a Bible study at the church," a neighbor, Sam Hartman, told Fox News.
