Bishop Jakes is traveling across the country promoting his new book, Soar! Building Your Vision from the Ground Up. He dropped by the studio at CBN's Washington, D.C. news bureau to discuss the keys to helping dreams take flight along with some of today's hot button issues.

In our CBN News interview, Jakes encouraged people to pursue their dreams, and not to get discouraged by setbacks.

"Fail your way up," he said. "It doesn't matter where you start. It matters where you finish."

The Potter's House prelate and faith-based movie producer, Jakes is best known for selling out stadiums with events like Manpower, Woman Thou Art Loosed and MegaFest, which boasts over 300,000 attendees.

CBN News' John Jessup will have more on what Jake’s had to say about the NFL players protest later on CBNNews.com.
