As soccer enthusiasts travel to Brazil for the 2014 World Cup game this week, reports of corruption are already swirling around the 2022 World Cup and its host country, Qatar.

Earlier this week, London's Sunday Times leaked emails revealing that a top Qatari soccer administrator, Mohammed bin Hammam, bribed voters to give his country the right to host the big game.

Several of the main World Cup sponsors, including Coca-Cola, Visa, and Sony are putting pressure on FIFA (Fédération Internationale de Football Association) to investigate the claims.

Meanwhile, Qatar has come under fire from critics for unsafe work conditions and poor treatment of migrant workers.

Around a thousand migrant workers in Qatar have already died building the controversial new Al Wakrah Stadium in preparation for the 2022 games.

Eighty-eight percent of the country's residents are migrant workers from other countries.
