N. Korea Leader Puts Military into 'War Time State'

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un is ordering his military to enter a "war time state" after fire was exchanged with South Korea Thursday.

On Friday, South Korean President Park Geun-hye said she expects her country's military to be fully prepared to respond to "any further provocations from the North."

Officials in Seoul said the North fired across the border after loudspeakers began broadcasting anti-Pyongyang propaganda. North Korea later denied firing shots at the South.

The broadcasts began again, after an 11-year lull, when South Korea accused the North of planting land mines that maimed two South Korean soldiers earlier this month.

No one was killed in the fire exchanges Thursday.
