ISIS Includes Addresses on US Military 'Hit List'
The Islamic State is calling for lone wolf attacks on U.S. military personnel, posting a "hit list" that includes photos, names, and addresses.
A group calling itself the Islamic State Hacking Division posted the personal information of 100 U.S. military men and women.
They called on sympathizers to kill the people on the list in retaliation against those the group claims have attacked ISIS targets in places like Syria and Iraq.
"I worry that the increasing sophistication by the Islamic terrorist organizations to manipulate social media to their own ends is a very worrying trend," retired Gen. Carter Ham, U.S. Africa Command, said.
U.S. Central Command posted a message on its Facebook page reminding personnel to maintain a "heightened sense of vigilance," especially regarding social media.
