Contact Center Tech Ops Assistant

Location – Nashville, TN

The Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN), is seeking to add to our dynamic Contact Center team.  This position is designed as first line support for daily operations, with email, in-person, and telephone inquiries, for the Technical Operations Support Desk.  Plus provide administrative support to the Sr. Tech Ops Coordinator and the Tech Ops Manager along with directives from Director of Operations and the Workforce Management team in CBN Contact Center.

This position is part-time at 25 hours/week and does include weekends.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • Excellent working knowledge of customer service principles and practices
  • Working knowledge of call center telephony work environment
  • Critical thinking skills, strong problem solving while working in a high paced technology customer service environment
  • Communicate effectively, professionally with all levels of leadership and all call center phone staff
  • Ability to make sound decisions in collaboration with team and or management
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with staff in a positive manner
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient typing skills:  35 WPM desired
  • Strong computer skills, knowledge of MS Office and Office 365
  • Ability to compose and type professional email correspondence
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, work well under pressure, and meet deadlines and effectively communicate in 911 Emergencies
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high level of accuracy
  • Excellent ability to organize and prioritize work
  • Ability to work in a structured, fast-paced environment, and quickly adapt to change
  • Excellent ability to maintain confidentiality and safeguard sensitive information per department protocols
