Outbound Fundraising Specialist

The Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) is looking for an Outbound Fundraising Specialist to join our dynamic call center team of professionals…an individual who wants to contribute to a mission driven business, someone who wants to change lives!  We are seeking dedicated professionals who are passionate about the mission of CBN and enjoy interacting with the public. 

This position will assist in cultivating and expanding relationships between the organization and its donors. Under direct supervision, this position is responsible for customer service to donors for the purpose of increasing donor frequency and maintaining donor retention by communicating with established and prospective CBN donors to solicit financial support, inform, and minister through prayer.

This is a regular, full-time position, Monday through Friday and paid at $13.57 per hour. Along with full-time benefits, Regent University offers CBN Employees a 75% tuition discount available immediately!

We are currently hiring for afternoon and evening hours

(shifts between 11am & 11pm)

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • Previous experience in an outbound call center or donor relations environment preferred
  • Excellent listening skills and ability to empathize with others
  • Excellent ability to maintain confidentiality and safeguard sensitive information per department protocols
  • Knowledge of the Bible and ability to pray concise, scripture-based prayers
  • Excellent computer skills including use of Windows-based operating system, web browser, and email program
  • Ability to gain rapport easily with others
  • Strong reading / comprehension skills
  • Proven track record of performing role with excellence
  • Ability to communicate professionally with strong oral and written communication skills, including proper use of sentence structure, grammar, and spelling
  • Ability to work in a structured, fast-paced environment, and adapt to change
  • Ability to self-manage and take initiative
  • Strong ability to maintain consistent punctuality and attendance
  • Experience with Call Center software a plus
  • Ability to work occasional weekends and holidays as needed
