Programmatic Media Buyer



The Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) is seeking an experienced Programmatic Media Buyer to join our Digital Media team.  This self-motivated professional will be responsible for executing audience targeting to optimize advertising and marketing campaigns.  The Christian Broadcasting Network, Inc. is a multifaceted nonprofit organization that provides programming via cable, broadcast, satellite and digital distribution including OTT (Over-the-top) content.  CBN’s ministries have long held preeminent positions as a trusted Christian broadcast leader with a loyal audience that extends directly to CBN’s digital properties.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • 2 years of media buying experience with a major content producer/publisher, advertising agency, agency trading desk, demand side platform or programmatic technology company
  • Knowledge of the programmatic landscape and challenges in the marketplace
  • Experience or knowledge of Adobe and Google analytics
  • Working knowledge of Rentrak and Nielsen television ratings is a plus with knowledge of how they apply to the advertising sales process
  • Excellent analytical skills with ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions,  and develop actionable recommendations
  • Strong ability to efficiently manage multiple campaigns and competing priorities
  • Excellent oral, written and high-level presentation skills
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management skills and attention to detail
  • Flexible with ability to work well under pressure and consistently meet deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work independently and be an effective member of a team
