The Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) is seeking a Social Media Producer to provide comprehensive social media support in campaigns for CBN properties and platforms. This position will create and craft compelling digital content that engages our audience in dynamic and interactive ways. This job will provide someone with the opportunity to work collaboratively with key CBN departments and international offices to maintain full integration with CBN’s mission and message.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications: 

  • Working knowledge of social media platforms and ability to keep up with new and emerging trends
  • Experience developing and expanding multi-platform marketing campaigns across Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and Google Alerts, and Instagram utilizing social media management tools (such as HootSuite)
  • Someone comfortable delivering rich media across blogs, forums, podcasts, vlogs (video-on-demand), etc.
  • Ability to analyze the success of campaigns using Google Analytics a plus
  • Assist in executing social media strategy, collaborating with stakeholders across CBN to ensure effective and the adoption of relevant techniques into the corporate culture
  • Excellent English, literary, editorial (spelling/proofing) and creative writing skills to include knowledge of Associate Press-style writing
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interact effectively with CBN staff and outside public
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently and as an effective member of a team
  • Ability to execute all publishing workflows for video, images and text including publishing to social media platforms
  • Ability to research and pursue various avenues of information gathering
  • Ability to work in multi-functional and cross-cultural teams—content creation, design, and technical—to deliver online user experiences
  • Ability to work well under pressure and consistently meet deadlines
  • Ability to work some nights and weekends
  • Degree in Digital Media, Social Media or Marketing desirable
