Social Media Production Assistant

The Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) is seeking a Social Media Production Assistant to support, update, and create content for Turning Point International’s social media platforms. The successful individual will be responsible for the day-to-day updates of the TPI social media platforms, and work with social media manager to generate ideas and create viewer involvement online.

This is a regular, part-time position at 20 hours per week.  Employees averaging 20+ hours per week accrue Part-Time Vacation and Sick leave.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • Minimum two years of social media experience
  • Knowledge of the internet and social media platforms, including use of the editing functions, to include Twitter, Facebook
  • Strong editorial & social media judgment
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of biblical world view
  • Organized, attention to detail and self-starter with excellent interpersonal communications skills
  • Have a clear sense of the latest trends, pop culture, and current events both domestic and international
  • Work well under pressure and tight deadlines--ability to crank out high-quality work with short time frames
  • Strong skill in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Ability to communicate professionally on multiple channels with strong oral and written communication skills, including proper use of sentence structure, grammar, and spelling
  • Strong computer skills including use of Windows-based operating system, MS Office, and email program with the ability to learn new software
  • Ability to work independently in a structured, fast paced environment, multi-task, and frequently adapt to change
  • Ability to self-manage and be well organized with strong attention to detail and time management
  • Strong ability to maintain consistent punctuality and attendance
  • Excellent ability to maintain confidentiality and safeguard sensitive information per department protocols
