Egypt's Naked Beating Outrage

Egyptians are expressing anger and outrage over last Friday's beating of a 50-year old protestor during demonstrations outside the presidential palace.

Security police used batons and their fists to assault and strip naked unemployed laborer Hamada Saber before dragging him into a paddy wagon.

These tactics remind Egyptians of the Mubarak regime; many feel they've just replaced one tyrannical regime with another. They fear security officials are resorting to even worse abuses in private.

A growing number of human rights organizations are condemning President Morsi's agressive response to the demonstrations. Amnesty International describes the Egyptian government tactics as "unecessary" and "excessive."
