Pompeo's Intelligent Central Intelligence

11-18-2016

Ask just about anyone in national security and intelligence who knows Congressman Mike Pompeo and they'll tell you he's an intelligent man who will bring intelligence and efficiency to the CIA.

The Republican congressman from Witchita, Kansas is no stranger to sound business management and global risks.

That's because prior to serving in the U.S. Congress, Pompeo started several businesses--one an aerospace company and another that manufactured oilfield equipment. He has a law degree from Harvard Law School and he's a graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. He served as an officer in the U.S. Army and was first elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 2010. He currently serves as a member of the House Intelligence Committee.

Pompeo said he was "honored and humbled" to be selected as Trump's CIA director. And although he will miss serving in the U.S. Congress, he says the "opportunity to lead the world's finest intelligence warriors is a call to service that he could not ignore."

What does this 52-year old conservative, Tea Party favorite believe and in which direction will he take Trump's foreign policy and intelligence?

I've met Pompeo several times and interviewed him recently on Capitol Hill.

I've broken down the interview into five segments so you may pick and choose the ones that interest you.

Clip# 1--What does Pompeo think of the nuclear agreement with Iran? He and Senator Tom Cotton were among the first to expose several secret side deals:

Clip#2--Pompeo discusses Hillary Clinton's Russian re-set button and how he'll advise Donald Trump to take a hard-line approach against Putin:

Clip#3--The rise of ISIS. Why did it happen and what does Pompeo think should be done at this point?

Clip#4--Politicizing U.S. intelligence from the field. Should the raw intel fit the political narrative, or the narrative fit the intel?

Clip#5--What does he think of President Obama's foreign policy record and legacy?

Please pray for Congressman Mike Pompeo. Because of his conservative views, his Senate confirmation hearing may likely be contentious.

He may need all the prayers he can get!
