Just a scant 15 hours before he was pronounced dead, Prince was photographed outside a Walgreen's pharmacy near his home.
Store employees were said to recall the pop superstar pacing back and forth and acting nervously. There are also reports from the celebrity site TMZ that Prince frequented that particular pharmacy four times in the week leading up to his death.
TMZ is also reporting Prince apparently overdosed on the prescription painkiller Percocet six days before his death but was pulled back from the brink of death with the help of a "save shot."
