It began as such a blissful moment; a summer Sunday evening in Paris sitting in the back row in Notre Dame cathedral listening to the choir sing Canticle of the Apocalypse. The sound inside the great church was ethereal and it sent my mind traveling through scripture and church history.

The moment burst when my friend Jean whispered into my ear that one sign of the apocalypse would be when Islamists hurled grenades through Notre Dame's magnificent stained glass windows. Back then, eight years ago at least, it sounded extremely paranoid.

He wasn't paranoid.

Three years ago, 78-year-old French historian Dominique Venner walked up to the altar in the same Notre Dame cathedral, laid a sealed envelope on the altar, pulled out a pistol and shot himself in the head. Inside the envelope was a list of the reasons for his suicide. They included the "great replacement" of the French people by immigrants and France "falling into the hands of Islamists." He was trying to awaken the French people.

Today an 85-year-old French priest in the Normandy town of Saint-Etienne-du-Rouvray was beheaded by ISIS "soldiers" shouting Allahu Akbar. He won’t be the last. Father Jacques Hamel was forced to kneel while his Muslim executioners filmed the act. A worshipper who was also attacked during the mass is fighting for their life.

The hate and bloodlust of Muhammed has been welcomed to Europe by politicians willing to see innocent people die for their multicultural fantasy. More blood sacrifices will be made to Allah by followers of Muhammed, and to the god of multiculturalism by European leaders.

More priests will be beheaded. More churches will be attacked. It is terrible but true.

For France and for the West, this "apocalypse" has only begun.
