Egypt’s New Islamist Coalition

President Obama has been promoting the idea that a future Egyptian government will include the Muslim Brotherhood.

But Jerusalem Post military correspondent Yaakov Katz says a moderate Egyptian government won't include the Muslim Brotherhood.

Once banned in Egypt, the Muslim Brotherhood, which spawned terror groups from Hamas to al-Qaeda, is gaining strength in the country. Some believe that it will lead an Islamist coalition, which will strongly influence the next government in Cairo.

The Brotherhood advocates abandoning Egypt's 32-year treaty with Israel.
