Today, Mosab Hassan Yousef, the author of Son of Hamas, held a press conference here in Jerusalem
Yousef shocked the region several years ago when he publicly announced he helped Israeli security thwart dozens of Palestinian attacks against Israeli citizens during the Second Intifada. That announcement was shocking because Yousef is the son of Sheik Hassan Yousef, one of the founders of Hamas.
He also declared he had left Islam and became a professing Christian. Today, he announced a new movie project about the life of Mohammad. He also spoke out about the Egyptian elections, the "Arab Spring," Islam, and why he loves Israel.
His forthright, courageous statement here is well worth the listen.
