Video of Egyptian Prez Morsi in 2010: Jews 'Descendants of Apes and Pigs'

It's been amazing to watch the trajectory of Egypt's new Muslim Brotherhood president, Mohammed Morsi, over the past month-and-a-half. Around Thanksgiving, he reportedly helped broker a ceasefire beteeen Israel and the terror group Hamas (which is, incidentally, the Palestinian wing of the Muslim Brothehrood) that ended Israel's Operation Pillar of Defense. Then, just one day after Morsi was publicly hailed by the Obama administration as a peacemaking pragmatist, he announced a sweeping decree that would grant him absolute power in Egypt, essentially making himself a new jihadist pharoah.

When thousands of Egyptians took to the streets to protest Morsi's power grab, his Brotherhood minions responded with the rape and torture of dissidents. Morsi eventually annulled the decree but declared martial law. Then he and his Islamist allies rammed through a sharia constitution that virtually assures that Egypt will become an Islamic state--or will descend into civil unrest once people rise up to oppose what is a shameless Islamist coup. Got all that?

Through it all, the Obama administration has treated Morsi with kid gloves and barely uttered a peep about the obvious sharia dictatorship-in-the-making engineered by their man in Cairo. In a sane world, a devastating piece of video featuring Morsi and just released by the invaluable Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI) would mark the end of America's disastrous bro-mance with the Muslim Brotherhood.

But alas, we now live in a world turned upside down, where things that are evil are considered good, and what is good is regarded as evil. But back to that stunning MEMRI video. You can watch it here. It dates back to 2010, not long before the outbreak of the Egyptian revolution that catapulted the MB to power.

Read the full transcript here. Needless to say, it speaks for itself. Here is an excerpt:

Mohamed Morsi: These futile [Israeli-Palestinian] negotiations are a waste of time and opportunities. The Zionists buy time and gain more opportunities, as the Palestinians, the Arabs, and the Muslims lose time and opportunities, and they get nothing out of it. We can see how this dream has dissipated. This dream has always been an illusion. Yet some Palestinians, who erroneously believe that their enemies might give them something... This [Palestinian] Authority was created by the Zionist and American enemies for the sole purpose of opposing the will of the Palestinian people and its interests.

[...]

No reasonable person can expect any progress on this track. Either [you accept] the Zionists and everything they want, or else it is war. This is what these occupiers of the land of Palestine know – these blood-suckers, who attack the Palestinians, these warmongers, the descendants of apes and pigs.

[...]

We should employ all forms of resistance against them. There should be military resistance within the land of Palestine against those criminal Zionists, who attack Palestine and the Palestinians. There should also be political resistance and economic resistance through a boycott, as well as by supporting the resistance fighters. This should be the practice of the Muslims and the Arabs outside Palestine. They should support the resistance fighters and besiege the Zionist wherever they are. None of the Arab or Muslim peoples and regimes should have dealings with them. Pressure should be exerted upon them. They must not be given any opportunity, and must not stand on any Arab or Islamic land. They must be driven out of our countries.

Be sure to read it all--there is much more. Notice how he calls America an enemy? Later int he transcript/video, he goes on to call for a boycott of U.S. goods as well. This is our new man in Cairo, folks--the great moderate who the Obamis tell us will uphold Egypt's peace treaty with Israel. Ain't democracy grand?

This is obviously a huge story. Yet as I write this, not one mainstream media in the United States has picked it up. Not one. And the Obama administration, surprise, has yet to comment. I did comment on it this morning on CBN News, however, in a Skype interview with my colleague George Thomas. Click on the viewer below to watch:
