A charred scrap of paper found on the grounds of the Dollywood park near Gatlinburg, Tenn., is creating a sensation on the Internet.

Raging wildfires have torn through Gatlinburg this week. The flames have destroyed more than 150 structures, killed at least four people and displacing thousands.

The unbelievable destruction makes the discovery at Dollywood even more profound. Park employee Isaac McCord was picking up charred debris from the grounds when he a retrieved a piece of paper lying in a puddle of water.

Upon closer investigation of his torn discovery, McCord quickly realized it was a page from the Bible.

McCord posted a picture of page on Facebook. It clearly reads, "O Lord, to thee will I cry: For the fire hath devoured the pastures of the wilderness, and the flame hath burned all the trees of the field."

The verse comes from the first chapter of the book of Joel.

That find surprised McCord and another employee who was working nearby.

In a phone interview with USA Today, McCord said, "When we had both fully read it, we looked at each other - and I will never forget this moment - we both burst into tears. I was ghost white, and we just prayed. There was nothing else to do.. Still to this moment, almost four hours after the fact, I don't have words for it."

McCord shared his discovery, hoping it will be a message of hope for who are effected most by the fire. His Facebook post has been shared more than 128,000 times.

Dollywood is owned by country music icon Dolly Parton. She is a Sevierville native.

Parton has said the fire has left her "heartbroken."

"I am praying for all the families affected by the fire and the firefighters who are working so hard to keep everyone safe. It is a blessing that my Dollywood theme park, the DreamMore Resort, Dixie Stampede and so many businesses in Pigeon Forge have been spared," the music star said.

The wildfires did force Dollywood to close temporarily.
