Exclusive Brody File Videos: Pastors Pray for Rand Paul, Ted Cruz in Iowa

The Brody File was granted exclusive access inside last week’s Pastors and Pews event in Des Moines, Iowa. During the event, Sens. Ted Cruz and Rand Paul came and spoke in front of hundreds of Iowa pastors.

After each addressed the crowd, the pastors gathered around each one and prayed for them. Below is a short compilation of those prayers for the senators.

We are posting these videos to show you the care and concern that evangelicals have for our elected officials. But, for all you liberals who think these conservative evangelicals are just praying for Republicans, that’s not true. At the beginning of their two-day event, they spent a good amount of time praying for President Obama.

There was not one negative word said about him. All these folks want is to see America return to its Judeo-Christian principles but they have no desire to trash President Obama in the process. Their motives are spiritual in nature.
