“If you put your faith in Washington politicians you will always, always, always be disappointed,” he said.

Sen. Ted Cruz: Look, that is always a concern and if you put your faith in Washington politicians you will always, always, always be disappointed.
The key to this fight now is not going to be the Washington establishment. The key to this fight today is exactly where it was a month ago. It’s with the American people. The more the American people are engaged, picking up the phone, calling their House Republicans saying thank you for holding the line and calling Senate Democrats and saying stop shutting down the government and stop blocking meaningful relief to address all the suffering Obamacare has been causing. That’s the only way we get a good result out of this.
