Herman Cain, who plans to run for President of the United States and is very popular with the Tea Party movement, tells The Brody File that he believes Barack Obama is intentionally leaving out God’s name from his speeches when he cites the Declaration of Independence.

Cain also chastised the President for not referring to America as a “Judeo-Christian nation,”

Watch the exchange below and read the transcription too.

Herman Cain: I have been able to get the pulse of the American people of not only what’s in their head but what’s in their heart. What’s in their heart is they love this country. They love the values upon which this country was founded and they don’t like it when the President omits endowed by their creator from reciting the Declaration of Independence.

David Brody: Do you believe that was intentional by the President?

Cain: I believe it was intentional because he's done it three times, two of which I know about and a friend of mine actually knows of a third time. Now with all of his Teleprompters how could you not put that in there? No. I believe it was intentional.

Here’s another example: when he first became President and he went to Turkey to give a speech and declared that we were not a Christian nation. Well I got news for the President. We are a Judeo-Christian nation and a lot of people want to keep it that way.

Someone needs to explain to me why this whole issue isn't a bigger deal. Expect it to become a bigger deal during the GOP Primary season. Remember, people vote with their heart.

The GOP presidential contender who brings up this "Declaration of Independence" issue often has a real shot of appealing to all-important Evangelical voters in the primaries and quite frankly many others who feel the same way.
