Karen Santorum tells The Brody File: “I’m just there praying for him, asking the Holy Spirit to speak through him. And feel like God’s hand of protection is upon us.”

David Brody: I have covered you, both of you, from the beginning if you will, and I have noticed, and I’m curious to get your perspective on this, Karen. In the last few weeks, I have seen a difference with you on the campaign trail. There’s always the fiery Rick Santorum, and there’s still that. But there’s something else going on. You’re walking through those crowds, and everybody is around you, there just seems to be a peace, maybe some humble nature that has entered into this about what has been going on.
Karen Santorum: For me so much of it is spiritual. I just feel like what Rick said. When you’re aware of our Lord and His presence in your life everyday, when you’re moving through the crowds, when you’re giving speeches and me as Rick’s wife, I’m watching him, and the whole time he’s speaking so often, I’m just there praying for him, asking the Holy Spirit to speak through him. And feel like God’s hand of protection is upon us.
