The Brody File has learned that Newt Gingrich will receive an endorsement from Evangelical figures Tim and Beverly LaHaye. The announcement and more details are coming shortly.
Tim LaHaye is the author of the famous Christian "Left Behind" book series and Beverly LaHaye is the original founder of Concerned Women For America.

The LaHaye's approached the Gingrich campaign about endorsing the presidential candidate.
This is a nice get for Newt and will play well with evangelicals in South Carolina. He needs some positive press now and both Tim and Beverly LaHaye are very well respected and well liked in the broader evangelical community.
