Marco Rubio Warns Russia: Tells Brody File "The Russians should be worried about us"

In an interview with The Brody File this morning on Capitol Hill, Senator Marco Rubio says Russia better be on alert and worried about the U.S. after President Trump ordered missile attacks into Syria. "I think Russia needs to be concerned," Rubio tells me. "I’m tired of always being asked, ‘Are you worried about the Russians?' The Russians should be worried about us. We are more capable; we can do more than they can do.”

We are more capable; we can do more than they can do. I certainly don’t think they should be ignored. It appears from a military-to-military perspective the proper protocols were followed and the Russians were alerted to this, but here’s the bottom line: If the Russians were in that airfield embedded with the Syrians, that means they saw the Syrians load this poisonous gas, that means they are aware that these chemical weapons are there. So ultimately, it is Russia that needs to be answering questions about how can it be that you’re supposed to be guaranteeing they don’t have chemical weapons and not only do you know you have them, you’re lying about it and helping them cover it up.”
